Sales Representative

Our client in the coffee industry is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join their Johannesburg team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the coffee industry, enjoys building strong client relationships, and has the commercial drive to grow sales and develop new business.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with roasters and coffee businesses and promote and sell the company’s range of coffee.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of existing and new clients, promoting and selling the company’s range of coffee.
• Provide market feedback and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare quotes, orders, and relevant sales documentation.
• Work closely with the sourcing and operations teams.
• Assist with deliveries and inventory management.
• Represent the company at industry events and other relevant events.

Requirements:

• Has +/- 5 years’ experience in the coffee industry with a strong background in sales.
• Good understanding of coffee from crop to cup and the factors that drive quality.
• Excellent people skills with a strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable with administration.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
• Barista or coffee competition experience will be advantageous.
• Genuine passion for coffee and the coffee industry.
