Supply Chain Executive – Howick

Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Executive to lead and optimise the end-to-end supply chain and support continued growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end supply chain across procurement, planning, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
• Own supply chain strategy, systems, processes, governance and performance across the Group.
• Own S&OP, aligning demand, supply, manufacturing, inventory and financial plans across Commercial, Operations and Finance.
• Drive OTIF, service levels, inventory optimisation, stock accuracy and Cost of Sales, balancing customer service, working capital and cost.
• Oversee manufacturing performance, including capacity, throughput, productivity, yield, waste and scheduling.
• Build supply chain capability and capacity to support growth, new products, channels and geographies.
• Evaluate manufacturing and warehousing networks, capacity and investment requirements to optimise cost and service.
• Provide strategic oversight of procurement, supplier performance, logistics and continuity of supply.
• Build strong executive-level relationships with key customers and suppliers.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and strengthen resilience through alternative sourcing, capacity planning and business continuity.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across procurement, production, engineering and logistics.
• Partner with the CEO, Commercial Director and executive leadership team on strategic supply chain decisions and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Science or related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 9+ years’ senior supply chain leadership experience, ideally within FMCG, food or manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing an end-to-end supply chain, including manufacturing planning and plant performance.
• Strong track record in S&OP, demand planning, inventory, OTIF, and supply chain cost management.
• Experience supporting growth through new products, channels, geographies, or network development.
• Strong ERP and supply chain systems experience.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and third-party warehousing/logistics.
• Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
